Description: Dev (Shah Rukh Khan) is a New York-based soccer player married to hotshot magazine editor Rhea (Preity Zinta). They appear to be the picture of success and happiness. So do Rishi (Abhishek Bachchan) and Maya (Rani Mukherji), although Maya’s inability to bear children does put some strain on the marriage. However, a chance meeting between Maya and Dev sets these two couples on a collision course.

As Arvilla cannot produce Joe’s will, which outlines where he wants his ashes scattered, not to mention what Arvilla is to receive upon his death, Francine insists that her father be laid to rest in Santa Barbara, alongside her virtuous mother. She answers the new widow’s protests by threatening to sell the house Joe and Arvilla lived in since they were married.
