    The union representing 21,000 members of Canada’s film, television and radio industry has told its members in four provinces not to report for work Monday despite continuing negotiations with producers. After receiving an overwhelming 97.6-per-cent strike mandate from its membership in December, ACTRA was in a position to strike as of 12:01 Monday morning.

    Rapper Busta Rhymes was arrested after a man complained that the hip-hop star had beaten him up in a dispute over money, police said. Rhymes, 34, turned himself in and was booked on a misdemeanor assault charge at a Manhattan police station Wednesday night, police Lt. John Grimpel said.

    Fox has canceled its teen soap drama "The O.C." The show’s last episode will air Feb. 22, finishing out its fourth season, the network announced Wednesday.
