ET Canada now the country’s No.1 entertainment news program

TORONTO, And the momentum continues… since January, Global Television’s Entertainment Tonight Canada has surpassed the competition to become the No.1 entertainment news program across the country, in all key demos.

- ET Canada now averages nearly 1/2 million viewers nationally per night, an increase of 50,000 viewers nationally since Fall 2006

– Nationally, +55% more viewers than eTalk amongst key demos A18-49; +56% more amongst Females 18-49

– No.1 in key demos across all metered markets besting the competition in Toronto by 15% A18-49 and 10% F18-49; in Calgary by 12% A18-49 and 68% F18-49; and in Vancouver a whopping 204% A18-49 and 211% F18-49
