(Toronto), Astral Media The Harold Greenberg Fund recently announced funding for 23 new and ongoing projects through its Equity Investment Program, Script Development Program and Family Film Program.
The most recent line-up includes two equity investments, two family film projects and 19 script development projects including The Edible Woman, the feature film script based on the novel by celebrated Canadian author Margaret Atwood; writer/director Brad Peyton’s The Troll Under the Table; and producer Kevin Tierney and writer Jacob Tierney’s The Trotsky.
“We’re very excited about this new slate of projects including our equity investment in The Cry of the Owl based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel,” said John Galway, President, English-language Program, Astral Media The Harold Greenberg Fund. “This round of projects follows the launch of The Fund’s Reel Support funding initiative and is indicative of our continued goal of supporting exceptionally high-quality projects.”
