ETCanada Studio Lounge 2007

TORONTO, ET Canada partners with some of the best and the brightest at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival. It was officially announced today in Toronto that the ET Canada Studio Lounge at legendary Toronto landmark Casa Loma will be home to some of the hottest film festival events. Over the course of four unprecedented evenings, ET Canada will celebrate three of the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival’s most anticipated films and one very special birthday celebration. 

On Monday September 10th, The ET Canada Studio Lounge will toast Canada’s beloved son, Paul Haggis and his latest cinematic achievement, ‘In The Valley of Elah’ starring Tommy Lee Jones, Susan Sarandon and Charlize Theron. The next evening, the lounge will honor a member of Hollywood royalty, Michael Douglas and one of the industry’s brightest young talents, Evan Rachel Wood when they celebrate director Mike Cahill’s ‘King of California’.

Wednesday, September 12th will witness the stunning grounds of Casa Loma playing host to a very special Canana Films evening. This groundbreaking production company is introducing two of the industry’s most anticipated films at this year’s festival, with both Gael Garcia Bernal’s directorial debut,
‘Deficit’, and "Cochochi" helmed by Israel Cadenas feted at the Lounge.

Capping off this week of world exclusives and star studded red carpet events will be The 2nd Birthday Bash for ET Canada, Canada’s Most Watched Entertainment program. The best in the business will come together to not only revel in the success of the show, but to mark what is sure to be one of the most exciting film festivals the city has witnessed to date. "It’s an honour to welcome this outstanding roster of film partners to another great year of The ET Canada Studio Lounge," said Barbara Williams, Senior VP Programming and Production, CanWest MediaWorks. "We’re delighted to present this celebration of the most exciting filmmakers, actors and industry leaders from around the globe."
