Sony’s "HD For All" tour hits Toronto this October

Targeted to those in the video production industry, from entry level prosumers to students and experienced Production and Broadcast Professionals, Sony’s "HD For All" fall tour will showcase the latest Sony HD products, coupled with the extensive "Sony Technology Series" Seminars.

Building on last year’s tour, which saw the introduction of a broad range of affordable HD production products, this year’s tour will see many more new product introductions, as well as demonstrations and seminars on file-based workflow, prosumer products, broadcast production products, digital cinema acquisition, display, professional audio and much more.

The industry’s transition to High Definition is placing new demands on every aspect of the industry and the Sony tour hopes to allow participants to research the latest HD products for personal interest, career development, or purchase.

Participants will get a sense of the technological shifts and changes in the industry, be able to speak directly with Sony staff and industry professionals, as well as gain insights into specific product features.

Some of the products on display will include the XDCAM EX HD camera line, which records straight to ExpressCard; HD Exchange; new BVM monitors; Pro Audio products; HDV products; the F23, flagship of the CineAlta line; and new expansions to the XDCAM HD lineup.

Whether you’re a camera operator, editor, technician, producer, director or just a weekend enthusiast, there will definitely be something that interests you at this year’s Tour.

"HD For All" hits Toronto from October 30-31 at the Japanese Cultural Centre. For other dates, registration, and full updated show details, go here or here.
