PS Production Services first to showcase and test new RED Digital Camera
Thursday October 25th 2007Even prior to the buzz surrounding the newly introduced Red Camera system, PS has been actively preparing itself for a digital revolution in cinematography and has persisted in becoming the first Canadian equipment supplier to showcase and test out the RED Camera at PS’s Toronto facilities.
Aside from unveiling it to clients at the Toronto International Film Festival Reception at Remy’s on September 9, the company has already ordered a complete arsenal of the cameras for its 2008 inventory while remaining active in providing exclusive and thorough demonstrations of this exceptional camera to professional DOPs and cinematographers.
“PS is thrilled to become a major player in digital cinematography as we continue in our efforts to provide the very latest in equipment and technology to our clients. We will continue to place these products under rigorous testing as they will only be offered once they have met the strict professional requirements of our customer base,” said Douglas Barrett, PS President and CEO. “I am also happy to announce that PS is the only company in Canada to physically possess and showcase this much anticipated piece of equipment to professional DOP’s and Cinematographers.”
