ExpressVu digital TV to launch Super Channel in Canada

Bell Canada will extend its line-up of digital TV content with the November 2 launch of Super Channel, Canada’s new premium television service, available only to subscribers of ExpressVu digital TV from Bell.

"Bell is once again delivering a first to its customers, offering six exciting new digital TV channels from Super Channel, including two in High Definition," said Kevin Crull, President, Bell Residential Services. "The addition of Super Channel furthers our commitment to deliver the most HD Channels and the best possible digital entertainment experience in Canada."

Super Channel will showcase a selection of edgy, award-winning and critically acclaimed programs – movies, documentaries, series, extreme sports and music from around the world. In addition to premiering a new movie every night, Super Channel will bring to Canadian viewers more than 20 series, such as Passions, The Closer and Side Order of Life. Super Channel will also air the Emmy Award winning miniseries Broken Trail on November 5 and 6.

Bell HD subscribers will also have access to a sneak preview of Super Channel’s HD programming on channels 843 and 844 during a special promotional period from November 2 to 22.
