CameraVision08 is Toronto’s first annual post NAB event
Monday April 21st 2008Tellavision / Camera Department will be hosting Toronto’s first annual post NAB Show event CameraVision08 Tuesday, May 6th, 2008, between 9:30am to 4:30pm at 1030 Islington Avenue, Gate 3 in Toronto.
CameraVision08 is a free film and television industry event for producers, DOP’s, camera operators, technicians and other industry professionals to network and learn about the latest technologies from the largest industry players.
At the heart of CameraVision08 are interactive presentations and workshops led by top industry professionals. CameraVision08 sponsors include AVW TELAV, Canon Canada, Carlsberg Canada, CICA, CineQuipWhite, DSC Labs, Fujinon, Precision Camera Inc., Sony of Canada Ltd., and William F. White International.
Key Presentations Include;
– NAB 2008 Overview
– Shooting Abroad: Working outside of Canada from a legal perspective
– Independent Film Making and New Media
– The Prosumer Camera: MiniHD

Registration for CameraVision08 will take place online at www.cameravision08.com. Registration for the event is free and closes on April 28 2008. Space is limited. Registrations are non-transferable.
For the first time ever Camera Operators and DOP’s can submit their demo reel to be featured at the event on large monitors. This is a great opportunity for operators and aspiring DOP’s to get noticed by the industry elite. Demo reels must be submitted by April 25 to Tellavision / Camera Department. (Note: Demo reels must be Sixty-Seconds in length, DVCAM, DVCPRO (25 or 50), or DVCPRO HD and contain necessary contact information).
