Canadian Television Fund increases support to Quebec regional producers

TORONTO, /CNW/ – Valerie Creighton, President of the Canadian Television Fund announced that the corporation has raised the regional bonus for producers based in Quebec (outside Montreal) from 5% to 7%. As well, the maximum contribution limit was increased by $25,000 to $100,000.

“This initiative reflects the CTF’s commitment to increase the production of shows that reflect the regional diversity within Quebec,” said Ms. Creighton.

The increases are in effect for the current fiscal year. Applications already submitted to the CTF will be considered retroactively.
