Pyman Media Group re-brands

Mississauga, ON, Canada – Pyman Video Productions is celebrating its 25th anniversary and the expansion of its production talent and facilities by re-branding as Pyman Media Group (PMG). Operating from its recently renovated 17,000 sq. ft. building and an expanded facility nearby, PMG has added many new services and personnel, positioning the company for growth in new media and leading edge interactive broadcast technologies.

CEO Andrea Pyman announced that PMG has partnered with accomplished Musician and Composer Stuart Zaltz to launch Pyman-Zaltz Music, offering Original and Stock music for broadcast, film and commercial productions. In addition, Ms. Pyman also announced that Gemini Award and Platinum-Record winning Producer and broadcast veteran Michael A. Charbon joins the team as an Executive Producer / Director.

Tri-Lite TV, PMG’s Broadcast Facilities company, recently expanded its mobile production fleet, adding a 6-camera HD mobile production unit. Tri-Lite has also expanded its rental equipment offering a production team to meet the growing demand for its HD and SD mobile services. Further recent additions and upgrades to PMG
s equipment and infrastructure, will now allow the Company to offer clients features such as HD Production, Closed Captioning, Post Audio, Duplication, Multi-Platform Integration, Web TV and Mobile TV content, Web-Casting and Virtual Product Placement.

The PMG facilities also house GlassBOX Television, home of BITE TV, an International Interactive Emmy-Award winning digital broadcaster targeting the male, 18-34 demographic. GlassBOX recently announced an injection of $5M in investment income as well as new additions to its board and investors, which includes Andrea Pyman.

PMG will also continue its long-standing relationship with PVI Virtual Media Services, the global pioneer and leader in creating and providing real-time virtual image entertainment technology for television. “For several years, PMG has partnered with PVI Virtual Media Services to provide PVI’s Emmy-Award winning services to Canadian Broadcasters, Producers and Creative Agencies,” said Ms. Pyman. ”We’re pleased to be expanding our work with PVI, creating virtual enhancements for live sports broadcasts, such as the First Down Line in football, and virtual product integration into television programs.”

In Canada, PMG now works with LiveHive Systems, developers of NanoGaming, the number one provider of Interactive Entertainment Solutions that enhance the television broadcast. The NanoGaming platform can create interactivity that attracts and emotionally connects audiences with live broadcasts, other viewers and brands.

These expansion and improvement activities fall just one year after Pyman Video Productions founder and former CEO Richard Pyman was tragically killed in a traffic accident in March of 2007. At that time his wife, Andrea Pyman, took over as CEO, and continues to build upon the strong foundation her husband spent almost a quarter-century growing.

“Rick built a solid team and foundation for the company and the best way to honour his memory is by continuing to follow his vision of growing Pyman into a world-class facility,” said Ms. Pyman. ”We are absolutely thrilled with the recent additions to our staff and services.”
