National Film Board logs YouTube
Tuesday June 24th 2008The National Film Board, Canada’s public film producer and distrib, has bowed YouTube channel Screening Room to increase exposure for its library of animated shorts.
Torill Kove’s 2007 Oscar-winning “The Danish Poet” is one of four shorts in the inaugural offering. Four new films will be added every other Friday to the channel.
Meanwhile, TVO, Ontario’s educational pubcaster, is launching a video channel on Joost to boost exposure to its vast library of documentaries, such as “Canada’s War in Color,” to Canadian viewers outside the province.
