  • Filmport Studio activity picking up

    Last week’s resumption of talks between SAG and the studios is already paying dividends north of the border. Toronto’s Filmport Studio, whose efforts to occupy its seven sound stages since opening in August were thwarted by the SAG-studio brinkmanship, has its first tenant signings. The NBC Universal series “Warehouse 13” will begin shooting next month on two stages at Filmport under an AFTRA agreement.
