TORONTO — Canadian Broadcasting Corp. new media producer Shawn Bailey has teamed up with Australian colleagues Dan Fill and Frank Verheggen to launch the indie multiplatform producer Chocolate Liberation Front.
With studios soon to open in Toronto and Melbourne, the digital producer aims to develop multiplatform projects across TV, film, online, publishing and emerging platforms for the international market.
“We bring a strong background in animation, video game development and multiplatform strategy to the development of television series and other linear programs,” said Fill, a former ABC TV head of multiplatform projects.
Chocolate Liberation Front plans to co-produce original projects with third parties or option content that can repurposed for the Australian and Canadian markets.
