TORONTO — The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) on Wednesday continued its national push into e-cinema with a new partnership in Newfoundland.
Canada’s public filmmaker and the Shorefast Foundation will install digital technology by November to allow its English-language films to be distributed via hard drive or Internet access to an e-cinema on Fogo Island.
The move follows the NFB launching a network of e-cinemas in New Brunswick for French-language cinema-goers.
