E1 takes Canadian rights to ‘Chloe’
Monday August 24th 2009TORONTO — Canadian distributor E1 Entertainment Canada has picked up the Canadian rights to Atom Egoyan’s “Chloe” ahead of its festival screenings in Toronto and San Sebastian ( HR, August 21).
Toronto-based E1 plans a December 2009 release for the Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried-starring thriller about a doctor who hires an escort to seduce her cheating husband.
E1 brokered the distribution deal with Studio Canal and Ivan Reitman’s The Montecito Picture Company.
