Sony Canada presents “Capture & Create”
Tuesday November 24th 2009Sony of Canada Ltd. is presenting “Capture and Create,” A Professional Acquisition and Workflow Event which will span two full days of Product Showcase and Seminars to be held in Toronto December 1st and 2nd.
The product showcase will include over six new Sony camera models, including several that will be launched at the show – as well as 25 camera models set up in more than 30 various configurations.
Along with cameras, they will be showing new Professional and Broadcast monitors, various professional and broadcast decks, professional audio and other related accessories and gear including 3rd party products, such as lenses by Canon and Fujinon and others.
The cameras on display will range from entry level handy, through to professional shoulder mount, and include POV type, ENG/EFP type, studio type and full Digital Cinema level cameras. Models from the HDV, XDCAM EX, XDCAM HD, XDCAM 422 and F Series (HDCAM SR) families of product will all be represented.
In the Product showcase they will be hosting a Production Workflow area with representation from various major NLE vendors on hand to answer editing and workflow questions.
You can sign up for the various Seminars that will be presented each day covering various Acquisition and Workflow topics including presentations by end users and a variety of product experts. Once again Sony will be offering a free camera clinic where factory trained technicians will provide a free inspection cleaning and adjustment to your existing professional camera while you attend the show.
Day One (December 1st) will target Prosumers and professionals with seminars covering “New Camera Technology” (prototype of a product coming in 2010) along with our HXR POV camera, HDV and XDCAM EX products, pro-audio, lenses and workflow and capped off by a seminar on Sony Vegas.
Day Two (December 2nd) will target professional and broadcaster users interested in learning more about the expanded range of XDCAM EX and XDCAM HD 422 products and their workflows and also include some VIP sessions for Digital Cinematographers on F series cameras and HDCAM SR.
