Sony of Canada Ltd. is pleased to present “Capture and Create,” A Professional Acquisition and Workflow Event which will span 2 full days of Product Showcase and Seminars to be held in Toronto December 1st and 2nd. The product showcase will include over six new Sony camera models, including several that will be launched at the show – as well as 25 camera models set up in more than 30 various configurations.
They are either the best examples of film art of the decade or a cinema snob’s top cocktail-party namedroppers. TIFF Cinematheque, the year-long screening program connected with the Toronto International Film Festival, has compiled a list of the top 30 films of the decade, as picked by 60 film historians, festival programmers and archivists from around the world. (Actually, more than 50 films made the cut because of various ties down the list.)

Which explains why the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. along with NBC-TV and Dick Clark Prods. have decided to do things a bit differently for the 67th Annual Golden Globes Awards, due to air Jan. 17.
