Explosion on Uwe Boll movie set in B.C. injures six

An explosion that reportedly happened on the set of German director Uwe Boll’s film Dungeon Seige 2 has injured six people.

Ridge Meadows RCMP said emergency personnel were called to the site of the blast in Golden Ears Provincial Park at around 1 p.m. on December 21.

“The explosion occurred as a propane heater was being filled,” police said in a statement yesterday. “The heaters are part of a movie set holding area in the park.”

Victims were taken to hospital with burns but RCMP said “none of the injuries are felt to be life-threatening”.

Police and WorkSafeBC were investigating the incident.

The film stars Swedish action hero Dolph Lundgren.

Boll’s previous films include Alone in the Dark , BloodRayne , Postal , and Darfur.
