  • Darren Aronofsky, Christopher Nolan Among Directors Guild Nominees

    The feature film directors nominated for the Directors Guild of America’s 63rd annual DGA Awards are Darren Aronofsky for Black Swan, David Fincher for The Social Network, Tom Hooper for The King’s Speech, Christopher Nolan for Inception and David O. Russell for The Fighter. None of the nominees are previous winners in the DGA’s feature director category.

  • FOX is the People’s Choice

    Apparently, the people really like FOX. FOX shows dominated the TV race in The People’s Choice Awards, winning 11 out of the 15 categories the network was nominated for. House provided the lion’s share of the wins. The show won for Favorite Drama, and Hugh Laurie and LIsa Edelstein took home the Favorite Drama Actor and Actress trophies. And even Gregory House himself couldn’t be grumpy after winning for “Favorite TV Doctor.”
