Whites, Camera, Action!

Director Norman Jewison and producer Don Carmody, as well as Royal Canadian Air Farce cast mate Alan Park headlined a Summer Solstace Party; Whites, Camera, Action!, It was an all-star tribute to the revitalized film and TV production community at the new William F. White Centre in Toronto yesterday.

Juno Award-nominated pop-rockers The Midway State played a special acoustic performance during the evening. Special guests included Ontario Minister of Tourism and Culture Michael Chan.

Paul Bronfman thanked Canadian Producers for pushing projects to the lens and keeping the domestic production scene hot and also thanked The Province of Ontario for coming through with the “AllSpend” Tax Credit Program; which has revitalizing The Ontario Film and TV Industry. Paul didn’t miss an additional thank you to Sarah Ker-Hornel of Film Ontario for her tireless work with the industry and the province to ensure the “AllSpend” plan came to fruition.
