New Media Competition: Canadian Film Centre

The Canadian Film Centre is launching a development lab, ideaBOOST, to grow new media content ideas into products and businesses. These include video-based entertainment, games and mobile apps.

Ideas will be presented for audience response. Those with the highest rated ideas will spend four months working with industry mentors to define their business model and develop a path to a market ready prototype. The progam will use community and crowd sourcing.

Visit www.ideaboost.ca until Sept 18 to apply with an idea. Sept 18 is also the deadline for voting.
