William F. White Int’l Celebrates 50 Years of Innovation with Multimillion Dollar Investment in New Production Equipment Technologies

Paul Bronfman, Chairman/CEO of Comweb Corp. and leading equipment provider, William F. White International Inc., announced a multimillion dollar investment in new production equipment and technologies as the company celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

The significant capital investment will allow the company to continue to be the leader in bringing new technologies and products to market in an ever-evolving industry. Since the rebound of the Canadian production sector in 2010, WFW has invested well over $20 million on recent inventory acquisitions from top manufacturers including new Kino Flo Celeb LED lighting, Arri lensless HMI Par systems, new high-speed camera support vehicles and off-road camera cars in addition to conducting research and development toward high-speed imaging projects. The company has also introduced the new TechnoDolly into this year’s rental arsenal.

Since its launch in 1963, WFW has grown from a small shop on Lakeshore Avenue in Toronto into Canada’s largest provider of motion picture, television, digital media and theatrical production equipment with over 200 employees and 6 offices from coast to coast. The company now has the most extensive inventory of state-of-the-art production equipment in the industry, and is recognized by Canadian and international producers as one of the best rental and sales firms in the world.
