  • DGA Unveils TV and Documentary Award Nominations

    The Directors Guild of America on Wednesday announced its nominees in the TV, documentary and commercial categories — and one director managed to score mentions in both the comedy and drama categories. Jodie Foster earned noms for her work on Netflix series House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black, making her the only nominee this year to get mentions in both fields. Also notable is Showtime’s Homeland, which has two episodes nominated in the TV drama category, with both Dan Attias and Lesli Linka Glatter up for the award.
