With two weeks left before the new Star Wars movie comes out, Walt Disney studios is giving fans the chance to buy movie tickets and limited edition T-shirts at the pop-up shop, which is located at 277 Queen St. West.
A display will feature life-size replicas of the characters Rey, Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, BB-8 and a Stormtrooper.
Organizers say the pop-up exhibit is the only place where fans can see the replicas.
“This is a franchise like no other,” said Barb Matheson, publicity director at Walt Disney Motion Pictures Canada. “It’s ingrained in pop culture. “
Fans are able to interact and take photos with the Star Wars BB-8 droid replica at the pop-up exhibit.
The exhibit will run for 16 days starting Saturday. Toronto is its only stop in Canada.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theatres Dec. 18.
