Kodak presents the ‘Stop By. Shoot Film.’ workshop at the 26th annual Atlant

Toronto, August 28 — Once again this year, Kodak Entertainment Imaging is pleased to present the popular ‘Stop By. Shoot Film.’ workshop on September 15th through September 17th at the Atlantic Film Festival (September 14-23, 2006).

This innovative workshop has been conducted more than 50 times in countries around the world, providing more than 3,000 participants the opportunity to capture images on KODAK Super 16 mm Motion Picture Film. The 90-minute experiential learning session offers a hands-on opportunity for producers, directors, videographers, or film students to spend time with a professional cinematographer and experience the ease of capturing images on KODAK Motion Picture Film.

“The feedback we’ve received from those who’ve participated in this program is phenomenal,” says Mary Elliott Bassett, Worldwide Training Director for Entertainment Imaging, “as a result, many videographers are now pursuing film as their capture medium of choice.”

“Kodak is a committed partner to the entertainment industry and its future,” says Johanna Gravelle, Country Manager, Entertainment Imaging Canada.

“Training sessions such as ‘Stop By. Shoot Film.’ are a great opportunity for us to provide a valuable service to emerging filmmakers. It’s also a chance to demonstrate why film is such an elegant, beautiful medium. Nothing approaches film for its quality, resolution, dynamic range, flexibility and archivability.”
