L.A. Film Production Up Slightly, but TV Production Drops in 2011

Los Angeles film production rose slightly in 2011, offsetting a decline in TV production to help boost overall on-location 4.2 percent for the year, according to non-profit permitting body FilmL.A.

All told, there were 45,484 permitted production days in the entertainment industry’s backyard last year as opposed to 43,646 in 2010.
