LONDON — Filmmaker Atom Egoyan, novelist and screenwriter David Nicholls and storyboard artist Temple Clark are just three of the names signed up to support the Think-Shoot-Distribute industry program running alongside the Times BFI London Film Festival next week.
The five-day industry event, backed by Skillset and Film London, aims to unite 28 emerging producers, screenwriters, directors and writer-directors with international industryites for a series of workshops and master classes that will explore the creative, technical and business aspects of the international feature film industry.
The program will open with a career retrospective and Q&A with Egoyan.
Other events include discussions on film financing, led by producer Alan Harris, and film development, with script editor Kate Leys.
The event runs Oct. 20-24 at the Hospital members club in central London. The festival kicked off Wednesday and wraps Oct. 30.
