  • Geneva Film Co. launches Lexus into the third dimension

    Geneva Film Co., a leading producer of stereoscopic 3D commercials for theatre and television, announced it will take luxury automaker Lexus into the third dimension later this week with the launch of the brand’s new “Pitch” campaign for the Lexus LFA. The commercial is Lexus’s first foray into the world of 3D. It is also the world’s first automotive brand to leverage 3D as an advertising medium.

    The Royal Tour stop at Pinewood Toronto Studios was hosted by Managing Director Edith Myers and Chairman Paul Bronfman. Significant input began months ago at the Ontario Premier’s office. The presentation for the Queen featured a 3D interpretive excerpt from the mini-series 1812 (directed by Deepa Mehta and lensed by Doug Koch). The Pinewood tour and presentation included a supporting cast of over a hundred local film/TV industry personnel.
