The National Film Board of Canada hopes to draw people into seeing new animated shorts at a series of free events across the country as part of its Get Animated! series.
The fourth annual event takes place from Oct. 26 to Nov. 7 in cities from coast to coast.
The series takes place Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at Cinematheque. All events are free.

N Sunday, Family day. 12:30 p.m., Contes merveilleux pour tous (French); 2:30 p.m., Fairy Tales for All (English).
