William F. White Int’l Inc. opens new location in Sudbury in partnership with Northern Ontario Film Studios

Paul Bronfman, Chairman/CEO of Comweb Corp. and leading equipment provider, William F. White International Inc. (Whites) and David Anselmo, CEO of Northern Ontario Film Studios (NOFS) in Sudbury, announced the signing of an agreement that will see the creation of a new partnership for Northern Ontario. This collaboration is in direct response to the increased production volume in the region and aims to strengthen and empower the entire local film community by providing access to Whites’ state-of-the-art equipment and technical expertise.

“Northern Ontario is a rapidly growing hotbed for production,” stated Paul Bronfman. “With their attractive regional incentives, unique shooting locations and industry leaders such as David Anselmo, we now have all the pieces necessary to better support productions of all sizes throughout Northern Ontario.”

Whites’ new location will occupy space within the Northern Ontario Film Studios facility while offering the same cutting-edge equipment and expertise. Also, through Whites Education and Training program, this collaboration will benefit local production professionals who will now be able to access Whites’ popular seminars and workshops – to be held on site at NOFS – providing trainees with hands-on experience with new equipment and technologies.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Whites to the Northern Ontario Film Studios,” said David Anselmo. “This partnership will create a Northern presence, putting the resources necessary for Northern productions close at hand, making the region more cost effective and attractive to filmmakers worldwide.”
