Alliance Appoints Senior VP, Publicity

TORONTO, Sept. 19 /CNW/ – Jim Sherry, Executive Managing Director, Alliance Atlantis* Motion Picture Distribution LP today announced the appointment of Susan Smythe-Bishop to the position of Senior Vice President,Publicity and Promotion. Ms. Smythe-Bishop’s appointment will be effective immediately.

Ms. Smythe-Bishop will oversee all publicity and promotion strategies for all theatrical releases in English Canada. She brings a wealth of experience to this new position with fourteen years in the Publicity & Promotion department at Alliance Atlantis*. Susan joined Alliance Communications Inc. in 1992 as Publicity Coordinator. In 1994 she was promoted to Manager, Publicity & Promotion, and in 1997 she was promoted to Director, Publicity and Promotion. Most recently she was Vice President Publicity & Promotion.
