Entertainment One Appoints CFO
Wednesday October 04th 2006TORONTO, Oct. 4 /CNW/ – Entertainment One Income Fund (TSX: EOF.UN), a major distributor of home entertainment products, today announced the appointment of Pete Pigott, C.A., as Chief Financial Officer of the Fund and its affiliates.
"We’re delighted to have Pete with his broad range of senior management experience join the management team of the Fund," said Darren Throop, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Pigott, a Chartered Accountant, was Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Sleep Country Canada Income Fund (TSX: Z.UN), a mattress retailer, from 2000 to 2003 and more recently Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Secretary of West 49 Inc. (TSX: WXX), an action sports retailer. He previously held positions in strategic finance and financial operations with MDS Inc. (TSX: MDS), a medical services company, and as President and Chief Executive Officer of Boreal Laboratories Ltd., an educational life science company. He obtained his Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University.
