CityVote 2006: The Debate
Wednesday October 18th 2006Toronto – October 18th, 2006 – Citytv Toronto and CP24 will air one-hour of the Toronto Mayoral Debate when "CityVote 2006: The Debate" airs LIVE on Sunday, October 22nd at 8:00 pm.
With over 30 candidates in the running for Toronto’s top political seat, Citytv and CP24 give Torontonians access to their mayoral candidates in this live televised debate. Three of the candidates, Mayor David Miller, Councillor Jane Pitfield and Stephen LeDrew join us to tackle questions from a live audience and commentary from our panellists: Citytv Reporters Dwight Drummond and Merella Fernandez, and Toronto Star’s Columnist Royson James and City Hall Reporter Vanessa Lu. Gord Martineau will moderate the debate with Anne Mroczkowski taking questions from the audience. Voters will decide Toronto’s next Mayor when they cast their votes on Monday,November 13th.
