Dina Pugliese Co-Hosts BT
Thursday October 19th 2006(Toronto – October 13th, 2006) Stephen Hurlbut, Vice-President, News Programming, Citytv and Vice-President and General Manager, CP24, is pleased to announce Dina Pugliese has joined "BT-BreakfastTelevision" as Co-Host with Kevin Frankish.
"On her own, Dina is a rare talent; one blessed with intelligence, humour and beauty, but her greatest gift is a gracious warm heart and that is why Dina is a perfect fit for our BT family," said Stephen Hurlbut, Vice-President, News Programming, Citytv and Vice-President and General Manager, CP24. “We have no doubt Toronto will fall for her."
Originally from Woodbridge, Ontario, Dina began her career by working on Global Television’s “The Bynon Show”. After producing and working behind the camera, she changed direction in 2003, when she moved to Toronto 1 as entertainment anchor on their morning show. Shortly after, she moved to primetime, as Host of the “A-List”.
In 2005, Dina joined "Star! Daily" which she will continue to co-host. Recently nominated for a Gemini for hosting "VJ Search: The Series", Dina has a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a double major in Sociology and Mass Communications from York University.
Dina joins Kevin Frankish, Frank Ferragine, Jennifer Valentyne and Tracy Moore, as they bring viewers a fast-paced mix of news, entertainment and information programming every weekday morning. "BT" viewers receive the best live traffic and most up to date transit information, weather conditions, sports updates and laughs… plus all the hard news needed to start their day. To start the day wake-up to "BT-BreakfastTelevision" each weekday morning, 6:00 am – 9:00 am.
