Norman Jewison will be honored by the Canadian Film Center and Film Independent with a two-night tribute at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on April 17-18.
The tribute marks the 20th anniversary of the CFC, which Jewison founded. It will include a screening of his 1967 pic “In the Heat of the Night” on Friday, April 17, followed by a 90-minute panel discussion with the director and several stars from his films.
“Fiddler on the Roof” will screen at 7:30 p.m. the following day.
