Academy mails ballots to voters
Tuesday December 29th 2009The Oscar process moved a step closer to the 82nd Annual Academy Awards on Monday as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences mailed nomination ballots to 5,777 Academy voters.
Completed ballots must be returned to accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers by 5 p.m. on Jan. 23.
Nominations will be announced at 5:30 a.m. PT on Feb. 2.
The awards will be handed out March 7.
