3D event at Toronto’s Pinewood Studios features the stereographer from Scorsese’s ‘Hugo’
Thursday February 09th 2012The SIRT Centre at Pinewood Toronto Studios presents an afternoon of discussions on 3D stereoscopic production with industry experts. Presenters include Demetri Portelli, the Canadian award-winning stereographer on Martin Scorsese’s Academy Award-nominated Hugo. Demetri will discuss the relationship between creative and technical aspects of 3D production.
He will be joined by Brent Robinson, (stereographer, Silent Hill Revelation), Diane Woods (V.P./Producer, 3reedom Digital) and Bill White (CEO, 3D Camera Company).
Throughout the day, presentations will also focus on the specifics of 3D for broadcast productions including documentary and reality. Hugo earlier this month won the award for best live action Stereography at the International 3D Awards.
When: Monday, February 13th, 1-5pm
Where: SIRT Studio Workshop #1, Pinewood Toronto Studios
Event parking is available on-site. Please enter through Gate 2 and park in the large lot on your right.
