February Freeze: The Industry’s Coolest Technology Showcase Returns to Toronto for 15th Anniversary

William F. White International Inc. has announced the return of its yearly technology showcase, THE FEBRUARY FREEZE! Now celebrating its 15th anniversary, this widely-anticipated pre-NAB exhibit, known for bringing together the brightest minds in the business with the very latest innovations and technologies, will return to Toronto’s largest world-class production support complex, William F. White Centre, on Tuesday, February 9th 2016, from 3-8pm.

“For the 15th anniversary of Feb Freeze, we have more screen-based technologies and advancements to shine the spotlight on than ever before,” says Whites Chairman/CEO, Paul Bronfman. “This includes many Whites exclusives and first-in-Canada product launches from the world’s top manufacturers which you definitely won’t want to miss. With all of our new departments and recent growth, guests can really expect to see it all this year as we feature our widest range of vendors and equipment yet, including a much more diverse spectrum of groundbreaking production tools.” 

Last year’s event boasted attendance of more leading film, television and digital media production professionals than ever before, spanning regions from Ontario and the U.S. while showcasing the very latest technologies from over 30 prominent motion picture, broadcast and live entertainment industry suppliers.

“We’re pulling out all the stops this year,” adds Whites Director, Marketing & Communications, Lowell Schrieder. “Guests can expect even more new additions at this year’s freeze including a fly zone for our latest drone offerings, evolving technologies-including the latest developments in 4k imaging, virtual reality, immersive media and much more! Of course, we will also be showcasing our favourite new toys! From theatrical to live events, motion picture and broadcast, the Freeze offers something for everyone.”
